Expanding the Realm of Systematic Proof Theory

چکیده
This paper is part of a general project of developing a systematic and algebraic proof theory for nonclassical logics. Generalizing our previous work on intuitionistic-substructural axioms and singleconclusion (hyper)sequent calculi, we define a hierarchy on Hilbert axioms in the language of classical linear logic without exponentials. We then give a systematic procedure to transform axioms up to the level P ′ 3 of the hierarchy into inference rules in multiple-conclusion (hyper)sequent calculi, which enjoy cut-elimination under a certain condition. This allows a systematic treatment of logics which could not be dealt with in the previous approach. Our method also works as a heuristic principle for finding appropriate rules for axioms located at levels higher than P ′ 3. The case study of Abelian and Lukasiewicz logic is outlined.

A short proof of the maximum conjecture in CR dimension one
In this paper and by means of the extant results in the Tanaka theory, we present a very short proof in the specific case of CR dimension one for Beloshapka's maximum conjecture. Accordingly, we prove that each totally nondegenerate model of CR dimension one and length >= 3 has rigidity. As a result, we observe that the group of CR automorphisms associated with each of such models contains onl...

Bureaucracy is considered as one of the world’s today processes and modern world. Following the expansion of the thought of rationalism under the Renaissance in the West along with the growing increase in the world's population, the concept of instrumental rationality and, consequently, bureaucracy has been expanded. In this regard, the influence of functionalism theory is significant as one of...
متن کاملA New Proof of FDR Control Based on Forward Filtration
For multiple testing problems, Benjamini and Hochberg (1995) proposed the false discovery rate (FDR) as an alternative to the family-wise error rate (FWER). Since then, researchers have provided many proofs to control the FDR under different assumptions. Storey et al. (2004) showed that the rejection threshold of a BH step-up procedure is a stopping time with respect to the reverse filtration g...
متن کاملScale Invariance via a Phase of Slow Expansion
We consider a cosmological scenario in which a scale-invariant spectrum of curvature perturbations is generated by a rapidly evolving equation of state on a slowly expanding background. This scenario generalizes the ‘‘adiabatic ekpyrotic’’ mechanism proposed recently by Khoury and Steinhardt [Phys. Rev. Lett. 104, 091301 (2010)]. Whereas the original proposal assumed a slowly contracting backgr...
متن کاملFuzzy Linear Programming and its Application for a Constructive Proof of a Fuzzy Version of Farkas Lemma
The main aim of this paper is to deal with a fuzzy version of Farkas lemma involving trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. In turns to that the fuzzy linear programming and duality theory on these problems can be used to provide a constructive proof for Farkas lemma. Keywords Farkas Lemma, Fuzzy Linear Programming, Duality, Ranking Functions.
